Who am I?

If I had to describe myself, I'd probably go for something like "hobby-hoarder introvert with a few extrovert tendencies", lol.

I'm very much a stay-at-home kind of person who loves her peace and quiet and feels most relaxed when doing her favourite hobbies. Every now and then, I suddenly feel the urge to call all of my friends and go out together, enjoying the hustle and bustle of people that makes you feel like part of something bigger. But as I watch everyone around me having fun, chatting and interacting with one another as though it's second-nature, I remember that that might not be the place I feel the most relaxed after, and that I'm slowly but surely getting overwhelmed and need to remove myself for a while to recharge, lol.

I really, really do love talking to people, though. I love hearing the stories they have to tell, learning more about their lives and the people they surround themselves with. I think I'm not too bad at keeping a conversation going, since I like asking questions and am genuinely interested in the answers people give me, and with my friends in particular, I could talk for hours on end.

But yeah, I definitely need my time alone to recharge my batteries, haha, and I thrive the most when I'm doing the things I enjoy. So what are those, you wonder?

Anything that has to do with fibre arts is probably my favourite kind of craft. My mum taught me crochet when I was 8, and I've never stopped doing it since. I picked up knitting in 2022 and loved it - not only do you use less yarn for a sweater, but the finished garment also ends up being so much lighter! I've tried knotting friendship bracelets too, and a little bit of macramé, and I'm currently (it's summer 2026 as I'm writing this) learning how to sew bags and other kinds of accessories.

Another one of my favourite hobbies is playing the piano and the ukulele. The former I used to have lessons in throughout my school years, while I picked up the latter in 2019 and learned at home through YouTube and books I bought. I'm also trying to learn how to draw and paint - mostly people/fanart, but I still have a long way to go until the results look the way I want them to look, haha. I love writing fanfiction, which I've been doing on and off since I was 14. In 2024, I went through a phase when I was obsessed with baking bread, and I do enjoy baking sweet things like brownies or cookies from time to time.

When I take pictures, it's usually of clouds and sunsets (you'll find me constantly checking the sky, lol), and I truly enjoy the sound of rain and thunderstorms so, so much. Especially when you can curl up with a good book and a fleece blanket and drink a good cup of tea!

As you can see, most of my hobbies fall under the category of "grandmacore," haha, but they just make me feel so relaxed and happy. I'm hoping this website will be able reflect all of the things I enjoy doing, since it's something I've - as I mentioned on my homepage - been wanting to do ever since I was a teen.

I feel very lucky to finally be able to learn all the skills needed to set up a website like this. It's probably my younger self who kept (and still keeps) urging me on to learn how to make gradient text for my Ao3 fics or to change my colour theme on my Tumblr every few months, lol. It wasn't until I stumbled across a video talking about Neocities, however, that I seriously considered making a website - and I'm very glad I decided to give it a shot!

This project will probably be unfinished for a long while, as new ideas keep constantly popping into my head that I need to acquire the knowledge to implement first. But I've having so much fun trying to bring them to life, and I absolutely the freedom that comes with owning such a little space - I never thought I'd be enjoying this so much!

If you've made it this far: thank you so much for reading! Now you know a little bit more about myself; I hope I didn't bore you with my rambles, hehe.

Enjoy your stay!

These are media that didn't make it into my top four list on the left, but which I'd still like to mention because they mean a lot to me or have left a lasting impression on me:
